Index to Mailing Lists
What IS a Mailing List? It is a "group letter" for the discussion of those things pertaining to Genealogy & the SURNAME ( or LOCATION) identified in the list's name. All messages "posted" are archived and can be searched, or read, by anyone.
A GenConnect Board is a place to POST information about a SURNAME or LOCATION. Each Board specifies the type of data to be submitted (i.e. Queries, Bible Records, Biographies, Deeds, Obituaries, Pensions & Wills). Search Engines are used to enable researchers to quickly find those postings containing the SURNAMEs they are seeking.
Both the SUBJECT LINE & the BODY of the message(s) should contain the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) and nothing else. (Please turn off your signature files, etc.)
